Managing lawyer of the law firm “Chiriță & Associates”, Radu Chiriță is one of the most renowned experts in constitutional law and human rights law in Romania.
Radu Chiriță graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, where he is currently pursuing teaching as a university lecturer of constitutional law and human rights law, after several years of teaching criminal law. At the same time, he is the head of the Department of Public Law at the Faculty.
In 2007, Radu Chiriță obtained his Phd in law with a thesis entitled “The right to a fair trial”, being the author of over 20 books and 50 law contributions to reviews on human rights, mainly on the European Convention on Human Rights and ECHR case-law.
Radu Chiriță has extensive experience as a lawyer in criminal law matters.
Radu Chiriță leads the law firm’s activity in the proceedings before the ECHR and in criminal litigation, his hitherto expertise leading to the development of the legal institutions in these fields.
